Winter Sports for People with Paralysis
|
The 2010 Paralympic games take place in Vancouver during March. Disabled competitive athletes will take the stage and compete in alpine skiing, cross country skiing, wheelchair curling, ice sledge hockey, and a biathlon (a combination of cross-country skiing and rifle shooting). Whether it is recreationally or competitively, winter sports, like skiing, luge and sled hockey, offer fun and active lifestyles for everyone. |

Ms WHEELCHAIR CALIFORNIA
Competition will be held April 2010. The competition is open to any woman between the ages of 21 and 60, married or single, who uses a wheelchair or motorized scooter 100% of the time when outside the home.
